Information
Please refrain from taking any antihistamine medications for at least 3 days before the allergy test. Eating before drawing a blood sample is allowed.
We do not conduct lactose, fructose, and histamine intolerance tests.
In case of drug hypersensitivity, tests cannot be performed on the day of first consultation. Expect 6 weeks waiting time for testing.
Statutory health insured patients have to make an appointment and require a referral from their physician or specialist.
Appointments for starting an allergen.specific immunotherapy
For the initial prescription of immunotherapy in tablet or injection form, please schedule an appointment by phone or online for Tuesdays and Thursdays between August and October. NO new referral is required. Please note: This offer applies ONLY to patients already registered with the outpatient clinic.
Test results
Your test results can be sent by mail or, if you prefer, are available for download. You are also welcome to pick up your results in person and discuss them with us. If you have someone you trust pick up your results on your behalf, we will need a signed power of attorney. This form is available at our office or can be downloaded here.
If you have NOT received your test results after 14 days, please send a brief email to our office. We will then address the matter immediately.

Celiac Disease (Hypersensitivity to gluten)
Diagnostic guidelines recommend to start diagnosis with serological determination of tTG IgA antibodies. We are now able to perform this test. Please note: this test is not covered by the statutory health insurance.
Allergen-Chip ALEX3 available
The new ALEX-3 allergen chip, containing around 300 molecular allergens and extracts, is now available in our clinic. It enables highly comprehensive allergy diagnostics in patients with complex pollen- or food-related allergies — using only a very small blood sample. We had previously conducted a thorough scientific evaluation of the earlier chip containing 297 allergens and gained extensive positive experience with it. Building on this foundation, we are pleased to now offer you the further-developed ALEX-3 system. Please note that this examination is not covered by public health insurance and must be billed privately.
